Land surveying work is underway at Rosecrans Memorial Airport in St. Joseph, Missouri. Tim Atkins, PLS and Andrew Keeler are currently working to complete the field work on this project.

The airport plans to repair deteriorating pavement to the west and north of the terminal building. The general contractor, Midwest Heavy Construction, LLC will be installing the new pavement along with a new perimeter fence.

According to an article by Brendan Welch on News-Press Now; the St. Joseph City Council approved a State Block Grant agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission to fund the project. All costs for the project will receive a 90 percent match in federal funds allocated by the Missouri Department of Transportation.
