Bethany J. Powell, ENV SP
Chairman and President
Bethany is Chairman and President of Powell CWM. She was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2017, and has served as President since the merger of Powell and Associates, LLC and CWM, Inc. in September of 2016.
With her strategic insight, direction and supportive leadership Powell has seen significant growth, stability and increased profitability. She has been spearheading Powell’s push into cutting-edge technologies like unmanned aerial LiDAR and simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) that the company believes are keys for future growth.
As the face of Powell CWM, she understands the importance of building a company culture that revolves around diversity, respect and humility, personal responsibility, taking pride in the work we do and most importantly creating an environment where employees can grow and have fun.
As the mother of two young girls, it is important that Bethany sets an example of a strong and independent leader. Women in the engineering, architecture and land surveying fields are definitely in the minority. Bethany is involved in the industry and the community and enjoys attending the Women Construction Owners and Executives (WCOE) networking events to help raise awareness and support for local women-owned businesses.
